Environment Awareness Certificates

Well done to Northway Gardens Organisation, the first winner of our award, for their splendid rose beds. We presented the award on Saturday 17 September by the bridge in Northway Gardens.

The Environment and Transport Committee would like to know what you feel improves the appearance of Finchley and Friern Barnet and is appreciated by the public. This might be a new shop front, an addition to a house, a cleaned up area that used to be an eyesore, a restored open space flowerbed, a rebuilt garden wall, or even something that has been in existence for some time. It could be a private or commercial concern, or something organised by an individual or a group.

If there is an improvement that you like, then please nominate the individual or group who are responsible for the improvement. The Committee will consider all nominations and award a Certificates for the best improvements. This will be an ongoing search for what improves the appearance of Finchley, so an award could be made at any time throughout the year.
