Planning
8.00 p.m. Thursday
31 March 2016
Stephens House
You may be unhappy about a new building or massive alterations to an existing one near to you, and wonder why it has been allowed. You may wish to improve your own property and wonder why the Council has prevented you. You may have read that the Government intends to make things much easier for developers, and fear that precious open space or offices that provide employment will be lost to blocks of flats.Planning has always been important to the Society – and to its members.
At the discussion meeting on 31 March members of the Society’s Planning Committee shared what they know and tried to answer questions. You can find out more about the work of the Planning Committee here.
